Shafrir Architects operates in Israel and overseas. Integrating variety of skills, unique designs and providing creative solutions of planning and consulting services.

Office Structure

Shafrir Architects Ltd. was founded in 1993 when separate offices of architect Shlomo Shafrir and architect Ruth Shafrir which had been active since 1975 were united.
The office staff today includes four permanent architects and an architectural technician who are experts in all of the offices’ services. The composition of the staff and its size changes according to the scope of our projects for reasons of efficiency.


 
The Staff Architect
Shlomo Shafrir

Graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Technion in Haifa in 1969.
Specialization: Course in the Design of Buildings for Senior Citizens at the Technion Haifa.
From 1975 one of the partners and manager of Shafrir Architects Ltd.

Public Activity
United Architects Association:
Initiator and Curator of “Merhav” exhibitions – The Israel Architectural Biennial.
Chairman of Exhibition Committee between years 1997 to 2003.
From 1989-2003 member of the National Committee and member of Tel Aviv Branch Committee.

Israel Organization of Consulting Engineers & Architects: Member of Administration of the Organization of Independent Architects for 2001.
Member of editorial board of the organization magazine “Lahav” between the years 1997-2000.


 
  Architect
Ruth Shafrir

Graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Technion in Haifa 1969.
Chief of Planning and the Environmment Dept. at the Israel Civil Aviation Administration 1984-2004.
Graduate of studies for MSc degree in Airports Planning and Management of Loughborough University, UK.
Graduate of professional aeronautics courses at the Academy for Civil Aviation Administration in the USA (FAA) which included:
Air Carrier Operation Indoctrination, Basic Obstruction Evaluation & Airport Airspace Analysis.
Graduate course for Senior Management, Bar Ilan University, Ramat Gan.
Graduated course for training women as members of Board of Directors for public companies.
Beginning in January 2005, active partnership in Shafrir Architects, Ltd.


  
  Interior Designer
Dani Shafrir

BA Interior architecture graduate, Middlesex University, London, UK, 2001.
2000-2002 Dover Design, London, UK as an interior designer specialising in bars and restaurants, mainly in airports across the UK.
Since 2002 Gpad Ltd, London, UK as an interior designer working on a variety of commercial and residential projects including shopping centres, retail parks and offices, private and large residential developments.
Also specialise in designing bespoke furniture, kitchens and light fittings.





  
Technical Facilities Computer system based on the lastest versions of architectural design programs Autocad, ARC+, Arc Render and more.
